Since its creation seven years ago, GBH has been heavily involved in the Réunion Island Job Fair. For this event, the HR managers of Group brands conduct in-person job interviews and build up the applicant-CV database.
As a result, individuals can be hired based on meetings right at this job fair, which undoubtedly provides a platform to identify
interesting and motivated applicants.
"The Job Fair is a real opportunity for HR Directors to assess applicants in their attitude, in how they approach us and anything else that does not necessarily come out in a CV or cover letter. So it’s really valuable for us to be there", explained Pascal Chavignat, GBH HR Director.
